Up for your consideration is a 2007 Yamaha R6 prepped for track/race use. The bike has been well taken care of with all services done on time. Oil changed every other track day, fluids checked, main fasteners torqued, chain lubed etc, etc.. Bike runs well! Odometer shows 17K but motor was refreshed aprox. 6~7 track days ago and pulls strong and smooth. Reason for the sale is I will be moving and unfortunately the bike cant come, no space, too many toys. NOTE: reason for the lower price is the bike will be sold without a title... again, NO title. Blank frame for track-day/racing purposes only. Yamaha Names Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to 2015 Dakar Team
Fri, 23 May 2014Yamaha has retained Olivier Pain and Michael Metge to race for its official factory team in the 2015 Dakar Rally. Pain and Metge will ride a new WR450F Rally currently being developed for the 2015 rally. Both riders raced for the Yamaha team in this year’s rally; Pain finished third overall behind KTM Red Bull team’s Marc Coma and Jordi Viladoms while Metge rode as a support rider for fourth-place finisher Cyril Despres.
