This is 1 of those bikes that is part scooter and part motorcycle, meaning it has a scooter "step through" design and automatic transmission but has a fullsize frame and engine like a regular motorcycle. Because of that, you can not only ride around town, but you can also get up on the highway and cruise at higher speeds. The Majesty is fuel injected and Yamaha rates the fuel economy at 50MPG. 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 Recalled for Fuel Pump Problem
Tue, 12 Feb 2013Yamaha is initiating a recall on the 2009 Zuma 125 scooter due to an issue with its fuel pump. The recall campaign affects 8,700 units produced between July 2008 and April 2009. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there may not be the proper clearance in internal fuel pump components, potentially causing an inadequate supply of fuel.

Wed, 01 Feb 2012Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.
