After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Intermot 2012: 2013 Yamaha FZ8 Announced

Along with the announcement of the updated 2013 FJR1300A, Yamaha also announced that its naked middleweight roadster, the FZ8, has received a handful of updates for 2013. Key among the modest improvements is revised EFI programming for smoother, snappier throttle response, and front suspension is now full adjustability. The fork has new preload and rebound adjustments atop the fork legs, while a new compression damping adjuster is located at the bottom of the fork.

Davi Millsaps captured his second main event win of the season and expanded his AMA Supercross championship lead to 19 points with a wire-to-wire victory at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider jumped ahead at the start for the holeshot and held that lead for the entire 20-lap race for the win. Finishing 2.386 seconds back was Team Honda Muscle Milk‘s Justin Barcia while Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey finished 10.300 seconds back for third place.
