Yamaha Other description

I have a Yamaha Zuma 50cc, it's been great, I'm the 2nd owner. When I got it, it was all stock. My friend and I have modded some of the components because we love mopeds and motorcycles. I have gotten a new rear tire, with still about a cm of tread on. The moped has 48xx miles on it at the moment. It's worth well over $1000 but I need to buy a truck asap so I'm selling this at $1000 just because of how badly I need the money for the truck. Mods:Both headlamps are on 24/7.New BatteryNew rear tireThrottle Mod (tops out at 44 downhill)Soon to get a performance air filterTail light mod (took off old turn signals, modded them in the break light like a crotch rocket)Before mods:38 mph top speed50mpgLooked alright(I'm forgetting some of the mods, but it's just great now, much better than stock)After mods:44 mph top speed60-70 miles-per-gallonTons of torqueLooks and runs nothing like a moped anymore, it's a mini motorcycle now.Interested? Call or text any time! Thanks

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Yamaha is recalling 2011 Vino Classic scooters because of a problem with its brakes. More specifically, the brake shoe linings may separate from the shoe due to a lack of proper adhesion, reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash. The problem can affect both the front and rear drum brakes.

For two months, the mechanics managed to turn the "ugly duckling" born in 1989 into a masterpiece. A new subframe and seat were made for the motorcycle, a Renthal handlebar and branded CRD controls were installed. The engine has been completely restored, the crankcase covers are sanded and varnished.
