Yamaha Other description

Up for sale is the baddest R1 on the planet. It has been meticulously and painstakingly built over the past 3.5 yrs. I have some good connections in aftermarket industry and had to pull all the strings to get this bike built right; this setup cannot be replicated! I have paid dearly for this level of exclusivity. Of all the turbod or SCd toys I have owned this is the only 1 that has and still does scare the daylights outta me. Ive finally dialed in the suspension and trail so that there is zero wheelspin and the bike doesnt want to stand up unless blantantly enticed. Its wicked fast - 1 ride and youll be hooked! A true masterpiece: one-of-a-kind Raven R1! Insanity in the flesh.... more than $30k invested without adding the labor and fabrication. The price is fantastic $11500.... The perfect classified advert

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

Forget “One careful owner, low mileage, full service history” – when it comes to penning classifieds we can all learn from Kyle Miller and Joe Strachila who’ve plundered their marketing genius to come up with the best scooter advert we’ve ever seen. The pair, from Seattle, became an internet sensation last year when they created a hyperbole-packed ad for $700-worth of frankly rubbish 1995 Pontiac Grand-Am. Now they’ve pulled the same trick to get rid of a Y2K Yamaha SH50 (the comically-named ‘Razz’), advertising it on Cragslist as “the fulfilment of your wildest fantasies”.

Yamaha R25 250cc Sportbike Prototype Revealed – Video

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

After much anticipation, Yamaha has revealed its new R25 250cc sportbike at the 43rd annual Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The manufacturer has long offered a 125cc model in India, and that’s where word surfaced of an impending 250cc model. We will have to wait a bit longer however, as the R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show is still just a prototype, meaning we should expect to see the production model for 2015.

Geeky snippets ahead of the Phillip Island MotoGP

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.
