Selling a 2005 Yamaha TTR 125. Runs well. Recent tune up. New spark plug, oil, fuel, petcock and cleaned carb. All stock other than BBR graphics/seat cover, K&N air filter and moose bars. Bike will have new grips at time of sale. Shows normal signs of use but ready to ride. Was going to part out but its a nice bike so I will see if anyone would like to buy it 1st. Kenny Roberts and Jay Leno to Auction Yamaha 50th Anniversary R1

A special one-off Yamaha R1 that “King” Kenny Roberts will ride at Laguna Seca at this year’s U.S. Grand Prix will be auctioned off to benefit an arts school in New York. The GYTR-equipped R1 with Yamaha’s 50th anniversary red and white paint scheme will be sold at Mecum’s Motorcycle Auction, Aug.

FIM approves track-only YZF1000W model A recently updated list of FIM-approved competition vehicles indicates that a new track-only Yamaha YZF-R1 is on the way for the 2023 model year. And if this is true, then we may also expect a significantly updated street legal 2023 R1 too. The International Motorcycling Federation maintains a spreadsheet titled “FIM Recognized Competition Vehicles” that includes approved racing-only models.
