Yamaha Other description

pre-owned 2004 Yamaha AR 230 Jet Boat for sale in Sarasota, Florida, 34240 This a very nice layout Jet boat with a couple of four strokes MR1 non turbo 140 horsepower each Yamaha engine, the same pre-owned on the Yamaha FX jet skis. It has plenty of passenger and cargo capacity and it will take you there fast thanks to the jet nozzle that puts the power down very efficiently. This boat has only 160 hours of usage and it comes with the Bimini Top and the Ski Tower to pull anything that you think of. The console is nicely laid down with the gauges easy to see and the controls are very ergonomic and properly placed. This boat has been parked on the grass on the side of the house and because of the sprinkler using water from a well that has a very hard water with lots of mineral, they left that bronze color in 1 side of the boat and the trailer as well, but will it come off with a good buffing, the boat has some dings and scratches but overall is in attractive condition just needing a good detailing. This boat with only 160 hours, will make you happy for years to come!!This listing has now been on the market a couple months. Please submit any and all offers today! We encourage all buyers to schedule a survey for an independent analysis. Any offer to purchase is ALWAYS subject to satisfactory survey results. Sarasota, FL

A breath of fresh air

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

Dean Benstead's air-powered bike project, O2 Pursuit, which we spoke about a year ago, seems to have come along nicely since. Here's a video of the Australian's rotary air compression-engined Yamaha WR250R being taken out for a spin. Apparently it can hit 87 mph and cover more than 60 miles on a scuba-tankful's worth.

My Cadburys Boost YZF 750 comes back to life.

Sat, 01 Sep 2012

After winning my 3rd BSB title in 1998, as an end of season bonus, Yamaha UK kindly handed over my beloved Cadburys Boost YZF 750. There were three of these ex factory bikes in Rob Mac’s team; one went to me, the big man still has one, and the third was sold for a sum that was never disclosed. I had three cracking years on this special machine battling against team mates Whitham, Walker and Hislop and breaking most lap records along the way. The hard charging Bayliss, Reynolds and Rymer were also thrown into the mix on occasions just to make life even more interesting.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
