The 2010 MotoGP season is less than a month away and Monster Yamaha Tech3′s Texas Twosome of Colin Edwards and Ben Spies decided to do some bonding with a little road trip man-cation in this video released by Yamaha Motor U.S.A. Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It

Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

The Yamaha FZ-09 Really Can Do It All – Video

Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.
