Isle of Man TT 2013: Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 Results

The Michael Dunlop Show continues with the 24-year-old Northern Irish racer winning his fourth race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.

The brief I gave to my girlfriend before packing for our little California road-trip was simple: “No hair straighteners, no high-heels and no hand bags!” So, I had to honour the whole ‘packing light’ thing too ...or risk a week of abuse. Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
