Yamaha Other description
Very nice bike, take you anywhere. Upgrades include Mustang Seats and Cobra Pipes. Been to Savannah and Myrtle Beach a couple of times. Nice bike...getting older and too much to live for...Nana and Papa don't want to risk getting taken out by some sorry driver her in Augusta, GA. So, it is with sadness that we must part with our baby.Price is firm for now. Tks 10k-12k on bike, starts up and runs like a scalded dog and purrs like a kitten. Sorry about all the inferences to little animals...ha.

Yamaha Star Bolt Café Photos from Tokyo Motor Show

Yamaha has made it clear the Bolt Café is only a reference model to showcase the customization potential of the Bolt. At its heart remains the Bolt’s 942cc V-Twin engine and double-cradle frame.
A Different Bike Magazine
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
