Traditional Vino styling gets the ultimate, retro cosmopolitan twist with two new color schemes and a fully-chromed front-end that includes the headlight, turn signal housings, speedometer and mirrors. The Vino Classic is powered by a responsive fan-cooled engine. Simple electric starting system with automatic choke system provides hassle-free starting. Just turn the key, push the button and go. It uses a variable ratio V-Belt transmission that automatically shifts for you so you have the correct gear ratios when you need them. The enclosed, no-maintenance drive system also offers clean, quiet operation. A large seat, comfortable floorboard, rear luggage rack and large, convenient underseat storage are a few more features found on this unique machine. Available January, 2002.

Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).

Thu, 21 Apr 2011I don't know about you but I've yet to ride anything with two wheels and an engine that I didn't enjoy in one form or another. From minimotos to 1800 Goldwings, there's always some fun to be had even if it is just the novel experience that makes you grin. I am not one for a pidgeonhole, that's for sure.
Josh Hayes to Test Tech 3 Yamaha M1
Tue, 04 Oct 2011Two-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes has been invited to test Colin Edwards’ Tech 3 Yamaha YZR-M1 at the MotoGP post-season test. Tech 3 principal Herve Poncharal told MCN Hayes will get to ride a few laps on the Yamaha M1 Nov. 7 at the end of season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit.
