Off-road capability isn’t the first thing people consider when shopping for a scooter but it is one of the more surprising traits of the Yamaha Zuma 125. In his review of the Zuma 125, Tom Roderick says the scooter “radiates a more adventurous attitude” than most scooters, with its knobby tires and hand guards making it capable for the odd excursion off the pavement. But if you’re still not convinced, Yamaha‘s Taiwanese arm has released a video featuring the Zuma 125 (or BWS 125, as it is known internationally) getting rough and rugged in the dirt.

Oh that Colin Edwards. The Texas Tornado been the industry’s go-to personality for funny videos. Edwards has gone on a Man-cation with Ben Spies, put Yamaha Extended Service agents through boot camp and starred in his own feature in MotoGP’s official video podcast. The latest hijinks from the Clown Prince of the MotoGP paddock is the first in what looks to be a series of videos in support of the 2013 Progressive International Motorcycle Shows tour.

2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
