I am selling my 2001 Yamaha Vstar 1100 Classic. Great bike, runs PERFECT. Forward controls, straight pipes, removable saddle bags, backrest. 19,000mis. New tires, new brakes, new battery, full tune up. Slip on exhaust has chrome peeling, and front fender has a dent, rest of body in attractive condition. Just had a baby, will not be riding in the future, rather sell now at a lower price than sit on it for the winter. Purchased a few years ago, spent $2500 in service and accessories to make it the bike it is. Body is not mint, but you can ride it knowing it is mint mechanically. In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
Yamaha Wraps Up Sepang MotoGP Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Pre-season test lap times aren’t a precise barometer for how the 2012 MotoGP Championship season will go, but Yamaha has to feel good about its results after this week’s testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. Last February at Sepang, Honda riders were the talk of the preseason session, taking three of the top four lap times on each day of the test. That pattern repeated itself in the final championship standings with Casey Stoner taking the championship, Dani Pedrosa finishing third and Andrea Dovizioso fourth.

Of course, all riders know about the risks, whether they’re on a race track or on the street. Still it seems odd to hear Daytona Sportbike racer Cameron Beaubier broke his knee cap and injured his wrist crashing a 50cc scooter on the street.
