1999 Yamaha Vmax, For sale, 1999 Yamaha Vmax carbon fiber gray by original owner. 6158 ORIGINAL miles! I purchased this bike new in July 1999, always garage kept and meticulously cared for, always driven maturely and never abused! The bike is also mechanically bone stock, the accessories include (pictured), is a real leather Corbin seat, Yamaha brand back rest, mini smoked windshield and engine case guards, also the stock handlebar was changed to a drag bar type handlebar. The bike has a new battery from last year along with an aftermarket high performance regulator/rectifier! Bike runs excellent! The tires only have roughly 1800 miles since they were replaced as wellrecent PA inspection! Also included is the original Vmax seat with all hardware and the original handlebar. The buyer will get all manuals in original plastic, tool kit and both keys. Yamaha EC-Miu Electric Trike Scooter Concept to Debut in Tokyo
Wed, 16 Nov 2011Yamaha is presenting a new electric scooter concept model at the Tokyo Motor Show in December. The Yamaha EC-Miu concept will debut alongside two other concepts, the XTW250 RYOKU and the Y125 MOEGI. The Yamaha EC-Miu is an electric trike, with two wheels at the rear, a design choice Yamaha says makes for a “stable, easy ride that women will especially enjoy”.

Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
