Yamaha R25 250cc Sportbike Prototype Revealed – Video

After much anticipation, Yamaha has revealed its new R25 250cc sportbike at the 43rd annual Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. The manufacturer has long offered a 125cc model in India, and that’s where word surfaced of an impending 250cc model. We will have to wait a bit longer however, as the R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show is still just a prototype, meaning we should expect to see the production model for 2015.

I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. Jack Chen from Australia has not only made a mockery of my model making failures, but he also made this version which is 40% smaller than a full-size Yamaha YZF-R1, out of cardboard.

Brought to you by YamaTube, here is a demo video of the redesigned 2010 Yamaha YZ250F.  With a plethora of new features and improvements, the highlight has to be the new bi-lateral aluminum chassis.  The 2010 Yamaha YZ250F is much improved out of the corners and overall handling, Yamaha has also improved power over the entire powerband.  MSRP to be announced Fall 2009.
