Yamaha Other description
I have a 97 vmax for sale. 19k miles. It is very fast. NOT a beginner bike. This bike is 1 you better buckle up for. You can easily break the rear tire loose on a roll. A true wolf in sheeps clothing. It is a comfortable cruiser with a severe anger management issue. It has Supertrap exhaust and Stage one carb jet kit, drag bars, drilled front disc. Only 19k miles. ...... and counting. Newer tires front and back. The rims were originally black. They were stripped and polished. Hiway foot pegs for comfortable longer trips. This bike has been gone thru extensively. Several new parts. Fuel pump, intake boots(all) have been changed. New battery and chrome reservoir covers. The Vmax has been out since 1985 and has always been the muscle bike to have. It has 1200cc's of pure power. If you aren't familiar with these bikes, you should look them up. Very fast, very comfortable and VERY affordable considering the amount of bike for the money.Clean AZ title in my name. The last picture is a 1991.more images to come when I list it. Get it before anyone else gets a chance.I have a 91 Vmax that I am putting up for sale next week. It is a head turner as well. It is much quieter than the 97. Still a beast, but more managable for an average rider. 37k miles. Corbin seat, sissy bar. New clutch. Newer tires front and back. Asking $4250. Mostly stock except for K&N air filters(4), programmable vboost control. Drag bars, new grips and chrome reservoir covers. It is super clean and ready to ride. Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
Yamaha's Coming Out With a Race-Spec R1 In 2023
Tue, 06 Sep 2022But there's a catch: It's only available in Europe. At least for now. In a move further supporting my argument that R1s are purpose-built racebikes with lights and mirrors to make them legal on the roads, for 2023 Yamaha is introducing the R1 GYTR – an R1 prepared specifically for track duty, without any of the homologation pieces for roadworthiness (don’t worry, the standard R1 isn’t going anywhere).
