1995 Yamaha XV750 Virago, You are looking at a 3300 mile bike, well 3343 to be exact!!! The seat height of the Virago 750 is about 26 inches. This allows you to sit on the bike with both feet flat on the ground. Anyone with a short inseam will find this a good feature. The wide and well-cushioned seat is comfortable on long rides. This is clean one, it has been ridden 185 miles a year,{ for a total of 3343}. It makes plenty of power by it's V-Twin engine. The shaft drive is quiet and easy to maintain. The dual disc front brakes are more than adequate to control and stop the bike. The Virago also has painted fenders, I think it gives a classic look. New tires, both on the front, and the rear!! We replaced them because of the age. All of our pre-owned bikes have been serviced by our factory trained mechanics, and will have fresh oil changes,and a full checklist has been completed. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.
