Up for sale is a nice 1990 Yamaha Venture Royale Touring Motorcycle. Runs great, looks good with some minor scratches and wear, but very nice for a 23 year old motorcycle. I put $780.00 into bike last year and this is the work that has been recently completed: Rear brake rebuild, front brake master cylinder flush, clutch master cylinder flush, coolant flush, engine oil & filter, drive shaft lube change, replace lower throttle cable & tighten steering bearings. This is a great bike for someone who is beginning with a touring motorcycle and set up for a smaller framed person, although I am 6'-4" and works good for me as well. Only reason for selling is to put funds towards rebuilding my boat, as I have put very little mileage on this bike over this past summer, although it is nice to have even for short runs around town, etc. I have this for sale locally and have the option to stop auction if a deal is made locally. GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Tue, 09 Mar 2010SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.

Featuring the world’s largest-displacement air-cooled Inline-Four engine in production, the XJR1300 lives on in 2015 with a new custom-inspired look and a cafe racer variant. The 2015 XJR1300 was inspired by a custom from builder Keino called “Rhapsody in Blue” as part of Yamaha’s Yard Built program.
