Yamaha Other description

Here's me 1990 FJ1200. It has just under 43,000 miles, recent oil & filter change, new OEM grips and clutch lever, valve adjustment along with new, sealed battery and chain/sprockets at 36,000 miles, Avon tires have about 8000 miles and still in great shape. Has what look like F1 slip-ons - they might not be but they do sound nice, just a little louder than stock. Overall a pretty clean looking bike for 23 years old, has a little rash from the previous owners parking lot tip over, uns well and still plenty fast enough to get you in trouble with the law or behave yourself and cruise all day long. Has owners manual and tool kit. Clear WA state title in hand. Located in Blaine, Wa which is about 30 minutes north of Bellingham

Results From Day 1 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.

Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster

Wed, 25 Jan 2012

French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.
