Bike is in pieces as you can see from the pictures. I raced the bike for 3 seasons and took it apart to do a recommended valve job. I moved and got out of racing all together. I purchased a separate 600 engine that bolts right in, but never had the time to complete the project. Everything you see in picture is included, including rear stand. 600 engine has never been opened to elements and was from a running bike when purchased a few years ago. The original wiring harness in still intact, but I do not have the original body work or the lights to make it street legal. Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing
Wed, 27 Oct 2010One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.
Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale
Tue, 26 Apr 2011We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.
