Yamaha Other description

Whether going for a cruise, a fast ride, or track day, The 1986 FJ1200 has been one of my favorite bikes. Built to handle and last, this is a very reliable bike. The Supertrapp exhaust sounds awesome. Minor scraps and imperfections that should be expected for a bike of this age, but very nice overall. Recent Full Service, Valves Adjusted, Carbs Cleaned and Synced. Runs excellent. All lights, etc work.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Lorenzo And Rossi Unveil Yamaha MotoGP 2014 Livery

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Yamaha’s official MotoGP outfit unveiled the team’s official 2014 livery in front of a packed audience in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team’s two factory riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, were on hand to proudly showcase their YZF-M1 motorcycles. As expected, blue, Yamaha’s factory color, plays a major role in the color scheme, but unlike last year where it was the dominant color, it is equally offset by contrasting white swaths on the upper fairing, fuel tank, and throughout the lower fairing.

This Is How You Ride A 125cc Two-Stroke + Video

Fri, 09 May 2014

It’s too bad two-stroke motorcycles are quickly declining. The lightweight and hard-hitting machines are a blast to ride. They’re all but gone from the street scene (thanks emission laws), but thankfully you can still find some on the dirt side.
