ReadMe First!

I am parting out a 1982 Yamaha Xj650 sport bike.  I have nearly all the parts for this bike.  I was originally going to restore it but I no longer have the space or time for it anymore.  Engine size is 650cc.  It has roughly 44,000 miles.  Bike currently doesn't run but engine turns, trans is free (bike moves), and has a title.

Contact me and tell me what part(s) you're looking for and I'll let you know what I currently have.  If I have what you're looking for, we can negotiate a price and I'll setup a separate private listing for the part you wish to buy.  If you're interested in buying the whole bike, then the price is $330 AS-IS.  I'll keep this auction updated with all the part that I still have available.  Local pickup only within the South NJ area.

NOTE:  I also have the bike listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.

Thank You.

2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
