Very Nice well maintained 1982 Yamaha DT100

Yellow Tank and side covers

Under 4500 Miles and is street legal

Sounds, Runs and Looks Awesome Especially for a Little Bike that's 31-32 Years old.

It Starts easy, has original Muffler and Baffle and still sounds very quiet with no exhaust leaks.

Tires and tube are good, although all electrical works like new including High and Low Beam headlight tail and brake light and horn.

The turn signal's had been removed before I bought this Bike. Also the 6V. battery may need replaced, as it all appears dead (no neutral Light or tail light) But it all lights up as soon as it starts.

Clutch does not slip, Brakes are Good although the front one squeaks from time to time.

I will include new in package (O.E.M.) Yamaha front brake shoes, and original owners Manual that is in Great shape.

Speedometer works, fuel shut off works Carb will leak a few drops of fuel if parked and gas left on but if I place a 2x4 under kickstand it does not. So the float may need a minor adjustment. IMO.

There is no fraying on any Cable's and all work very smooth.

The seat cover has been repaired, it has had a center piece placed where one sits, but the front and back where it say's Yamaha was saved. in all its a Okay repair, also one grip started to split and has electrical tape around it to stop the tear. Other than these few small defects this little bike is Awesome.

This Bike was used so little the Man I bought it from pre mixed the gasoline 3 ounces per Gal.

I did the same, But He said the injector worked but he had one go out on another bike and never trusts them again. I hardly ever rode this as I bought it to ride to Mail boxes to save on Gas. But it is too small for Me. So if You have a larger Bike 125-250 endure or MX I would consider a trade if You write me BEFORE YOU bid and if You plan to pick the bike up yourself.

If I think or find anything else I will update this listing

You will have to arrange Your own Pick up or delivery, I can ride it to my local I-80 exit for pick up or pick may be made at My Home. (3/4 mile off freeway gravel/dirt road)

This Bike is so very clean I hate to part it out, But in the case I don't sell it within this one and only listing I will part this out 100% right here on e Bay. starting within a day or two after end of auction.  So if You need parts keep this one in mind.

Thu, 26 Feb 2009

With mounting inventories coupled with a drop in demand, Yamaha will be cutting its motorcycle production in Japan by 24 percent this year or to about 260,000 total units; one newspaper reported this would be a 40-year low for the manufacture. Yamaha plans to cut production for motorcycles and other products by 30 percent in the Americas, 20 percent in Europe but will maintain production levels in Asia where demand has not dropped off. The company is forecasting its group sales to fall 22 percent with an operating loss of about $300 million.

After finishing in fifth place with Chris McGahan in the SES TT Zero in 2013, Italian based Team Vercarmoto, who made their debut in the event in 2012, has announced that American Mark Miller will ride for them in the 2014 race. American Miller is seen as a specialist in the category and boasts a respectable track record in the Isle of Man TT Zero class with the runner up position in 2011 and 3rd place in 2012 to go with his 2010 race victory.
