Yamaha Other description

Two stroke Rocket from the past!

Remember when you used to blow away y all your buddies on their Harleys or other Jap bikes on your RD400 back in the 70's - well things have not changed that much - you could still blow your buddies away on their Harley's in 2013 on your Very own RD400!

this was the bike to have back in the day - one of the best handling and quickest Two strokes of its time, way better handling than any of the Kawasaki triples and Fast and reliable to boot!

This bike has some minor wear since 1976 but for its age is in really nice condition!  staerts right up usually First kick, I am unaware if it has been rebuilt with new top end, but I can tell you it does not need a rebuild any time soon, it is a great runner with exellent compression and runs like a top! fast acceleration, and crisp reving and gear changes. paint is original and is prety good for its age, less two dings on the right side of the tank.
tank has very minor surface rust. but We cleaned it and it has not been a problem.  Seat was recovered and looks great! great rider !

Clear colorado title on the bike  - ready to ride!

Call 719-2296584  with any questions.
Bidders Welcome from all over the USA
I also welcome international bidders , however you will have to arrange shipping to pick the bike up

I can ship to the UK with DK motorcycles - for a fairly reasonable fee  - bidders from the UK will have to pick up ther bike or make arrangments with DK motorcycles to ship it firther once it arrivers at their facilities

GPify the Yamaha Fazer FZ8 with LeoVince

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

Here is what LeoVince has to say about the new Fazer8 and FZ8 exhausts: Quick off the mark with 3 exhaust options launched for Yamaha's brand new 800cc Fazer and FZ8 models, LeoVince promise you less weight, better looks and improved performance. These new Fazers, with their R1 engines, albeit downgraded to a smaller 800cc capacity, have been designed by Yamaha to give more bottom end power.  LeoVince have finely tuned their new slip-on GP-PRO and SBK-FACTORY exhausts to further increase both power and torque throughout the whole rev range, and endow the bike with a much improved sports sound - plus a removable db baffle for increased throatiness.

Build your own Yamaha VMax

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.

Yamaha Tenere Experience

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

To be honest I had my doubts. The the very thought of off-roading 260kgs of Super Tenere adventure bike fostered strong feelings of self preservation. Was this really a good idea?
