Yamaha Other description

Yamaha RD400C, 1976, adult owned and professionally maintained, 14,903 miles, garage kept, has not been tagged in many years.  For the past 4 years, it has only been ridden in my neighborhood.  Totally stock except for pipes, seat and kickstand.  This bike comes with the original Yamaha Owner's Manual, two Yamaha service manuals, original kickstand, original chrome exhaust and Yamaha tool kit.  The bike has a small amount of surface rust which can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.  The tank has a tiny paint chip that can be seen when the bike is in direct sunlight.  The chrome fenders have minor pitting.  Please see pictures.  Cranks first or second kick, when properly choked.  Please ask questions prior to bidding.  This bike is going up in value, fast.  This is a vintage, collector bike.  I prefer Paypal payment.  Bike and clear title will be released as soon as funds clear my account.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  I'll assist shipper.   Thank you and good luck.

This Is What Comes Before The Yamaha PW50

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Kids really do have it good these days. Case in point is this super stylish motocross-themed push bicycle found in the Yamaha Europe catalog. Parents out there are probably well aware of these bikes without pedals, but as someone without kids this is a new discovery for me.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
