CLEAN   CLEAR   TITLE

Nice, original 1975 Yamaha RD350 up for grabs!
A one year color bike, this Portuguese Orange 2 stroke little wheelie machine is a nice example of an original survivor.

This motorcycle recently went through some minor service work to get the bike up and running the way it should. The tank and carbs were both cleaned, no tank sealer needed or applied. New points were installed and timing set. The front brake was locked up when I acquired it, so the master cylinder was replaced with nicer oem one, and the front caliper was rebuilt. The proper key was acquired for the bike, a new set of plugs installed, a new battery, a few other minor things, and this baby now starts FIRST KICK every time.

This bike runs, shifts, stops, and rides properly. Shifting is smooth, brakes work correctly now, and there are no issues with acceleration or dead spots in the throttle.

Cosmetics are pretty solid, although there are some things that need cleaned up.
Surface rust, and some minor road rash is present on the bottom of the exhaust. The exhaust is solid with no holes, and includes baffles. Surface rust is also present through out other areas of the bike. Most, if not all, should clean up fairly easily.

The original paint on the tank still looks very nice, but there is some surface issues on one side as seen in the pictures. There is a smaller dime sized dent in the tank also. The right side cover is missing the screw to hold it in place. The seat is still very nice, but has 2 small tears. Seat foam is nice and soft still.

There is currently no air filter in the bike. The rubber connecting the airbox to the carburetors has shrank over time, and is not connected at the moment. Also, the side kickstand is functional, but not correct for the bike.  Tires are probably original to the bike and have cracking and some dry rot.

Overall, this is a nice condition bike that should not take much to make look REALLY nice. The hard part of getting it running properly is already done.

Video walk thru, and start up  ^
Would make a good start for restoration, or ride it as is.

The bike has a clean and clear Michigan title in my name. If you have any questions, or need better pictures of something, please let me know.
