Yamaha Other description

Up for your bidding consideration is a nice 1975 Yamaha DT250. Bike is almost complete with the exception of tool kit and mirrors. I bought the bike 3 years ago, performed a tuneup, sealed gas tank, changed out petcock, and cleaned carb. Bike had sat for a while. Bike will fire after a couple of kicks and runs strong, good throttle response. Bike has good compression. Put new knobby tires on last year. There are some small dings and some cosmetic rust. Speedometer shows 4362 miles but, I cannot verify. I do have a Michigan title last dated 2006 and fork seal covers that I have not yet replaced. Oil Injector system does work. There are no leaks, bike does have a battery but no tool kit. This is a good looking and good running bike for its age. $500.00 deposit is required through Paypal and the rest due in the form of cash or Bank cashiers check, allow 2 business days for Cashiers check to clear through bank. Local pick up only. Please send any questions or anymore pics needed, please ask. Good luck and good bidding. Serious inquiries only.

Just for a moment; leading the British GP

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Cal Crutchlow’s early exit at his home Moto GP last year meant we didn’t get to see his awesome potential at Silverstone. His two WSB race wins there in 2010 were pretty special as he dominated on the factory Yamaha R1, not least as he used some alternative lines and every inch of the track along the way. With his form matching the world's best in every event this year, on paper, this weekend should be his best chance so far to secure a podium or maybe even (making the dream come true!) take the first major class win in three decades.

Yamaha has registered a trademark for the design of a sport-touring model based on the FZ-09. Filed with European Union’s Office for Harminization in the Internal Market, the trademarked design reveals a brand new model sharing the same frame and engine as the FZ-09 (known in Europe as the MT-09.) Discuss this at our Yamaha FZ-09 Forum. The new model will likely be compete against motorcycles such as the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a rumored S1000RR-based model from BMW.
