Yamaha Other description

1975 Yamaha Monoshock motorcycle.  I only know this because I called the dealer and he looked up the VIN.  I am listing this for my girlfriend.  It belonged to her father who passed away years ago.  She has no paperwork but it was purchased by her father when it was new in 1975.  A friend of mine who knows about bikes cranked it over and said it cranks, which means the engine is not seized.  Beyond that you will just have to look at the pictures.  I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MOTORCYCLES, NOR DOES MY GIRLFRIEND, so please don't ask me, just look closely at the pictures.

This bike has sat for years out of the weather in Lake Havasu AZ.  Bike now resides with us in Rancho Cucamonga.

She has NO title, you will get a bill of sale.  I PUT "CLEAR" TITLE IN THE DESCRIPTION OF EBAY BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE A CHECK BOX SAYING THERE IS NO TITLE.

Delivery of the motorcycle and cost there of is the buyers responsibility.  The bike is for sale locally and I retain the right to end the auction at anytime if the bike sells locally.

There is NO reserve so highest bidder will win the auction.  I put a low price because we want it out of here, not trying to make a ton of money.

Funds are due 3 days after end of auction.  Paypal preferred.

$8,000 Custom ATV up for Grabs at ATV.com

Thu, 02 Jul 2009

Our sister site, ATV.com, is ready to give away the Yamaha Raptor ATV they’ve been customizing over the last few weeks. They took a base Yamaha Raptor 250 valued at $4,499.00 and modified it into an $8,000 beast!  Why they just don’t keep it in the office to use for coffee runs is beyond me. They’ve slapped on new air filters, mufflers, new alloy wheels, new tires, front bumper and grab bar, skid plates, nerf bars, new grips, new seat cover, new plastics, and more!

Custom Motorcycle Inspired By…A Stove?

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

The custom motorcycle scene is different in Indonesia. Just take this 1968 Yamaha XS650 for example. Built by Barata Dwiputra of Thrive Motorcycles, his inspiration came from a very unsuspecting source: wood-burning stoves.
