Yamaha Other description

Remember this bike?  175cc enduro, 2 stroke,  you could take this bike anywhere, faster than the 125, lighter than the 250, sometimes it's nice to have a bike that your feet touch the ground, new seat, battery, throttle cable, fuel petcock, fork seals, runs great, oil injection works as it should, has been re-jetted for higher altitude. on a 1-10 scale I would give this bike a 9.     I have clear title in my name. shipping is up to buyer. $100 deposit with-in 24 hours if successful, cash, check or paypal

Yamaha Sketches out the Features on the New 2010 YZ450F [Video]

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach.  The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive.  Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.

What you are watching is a highlight of Mike Hailwood's segment from the racing documentary Take it to the Limit - A Motorcycle Odyssey. The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within. The voice-over recording provided by Hailwood was done by taping a small mic to the bottom of his lip so he could dictate his guide to the 37.73 mile route.

Wayne Rainey to Appear at Misano for First Time Since Career-Ending Crash

Tue, 30 Aug 2011

Wayne Rainey will return to the Misano circuit for the first time since he suffered a career-ending crash that left him paralyzed from the chest down. The Sept. 5, 1993 crash at the circuit then-known as the Circuito Internazionale Santamonica brought a sudden end to what had been an incredibly successful Grand Prix racing career.
