Yamaha Other description

This enduro runs great. Every bearing, seal, piston and rings, crank rebuilt. Everything in the motor is fresh and it is fast for a 175. The speedo glass was broken (I still have it) so I replaced it with a used one I had here in the shop. The chain is new as well as the sprockets. The oil injection is working. I pre mix to be sure anyway. All of the air cleaner parts are intact and working with a new old stock filter. New points installed and timing set. It's good looking for its age and runs very good and will for a long time if its taken care of. Look at the pictures and ask questions if you have them before bidding. There is a clear title on this one. I know these motors in and out and I couldn't resist putting a close ratio MX175 transmission in it.  You could put a piston port cylinder on it and go AHRMA racing with it. Fun bike and faster than it looks. The tail light was missing - I'm still looking for one. One of the rear turn signal housings is oval in stead of round it must have been tipped over at some point. The other lights are working and I have a new battery for it. I have a lot of time and money in this one so please bid responsibly . The new old stock engine parts I put in it alone are getting very hard to find and expensive! Could use a good detailing and cleaning but it is in nice condition.  The seat isn't ripped and the gas tank is very nice.  Great running fast Enduro.

Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU Concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Fri, 02 Dec 2011

Of the concept models Yamaha announced it would introduce at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, it was the heavy-duty looking XTW250 RYOKU concept that drew the most attention from our readers. Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.

Yamaha will give a third wheel to its scooter

Sun, 05 May 2019

The Japanese did not have enough unusual Niken bikes so they patented the design of a new 3-wheeler scooter. The device will probably be called the Tricity 300 and will presumably be powered by a 292cc engine from the 28hp XMax 300 maxi-scooter. We're looking forward to the debut of the production version at the end of the year at EICMA.

The Yamaha FZ-09 Really Can Do It All – Video

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.
