Yamaha Other description

I am selling my 1973 YAMAHA OHC 750 ,

The Bike is 100% there - NO missing parts ,
I was going to restore the bike but I have to many projects going on ,
and I could use the $ ,
I would rather not even sell the bike !

Like I said before the bike is 100% / ALL there - NO missing parts !
NO parts have been stripped off .

The bike was my Fathers bike ,
and has been sitting in the garage since 1981-1982 / for 30 + years .

The motor is locked up (only) from sitting for so long ,
both breaks are free and work ,
tires will hold air for a while / but will need to be replaced ,
Drive chain is on the bike and bike will roll freely !

There are no other broken / damaged parts on this bike ,
the motor just needs to be gone through ,
The bike would be a great project for some one to restore ,
I would hate to see it but could part out if needed .

But I would feel better knowing that the buyer would fix it ,
it is a nice vintage bike and wouldn't take a lot of $ to get back on the road !

Pleas refer to the pictures of the bike !

PayPal Payment due with in 48 Hr.'s ,
CASH upon pick up !

Local Pick up ONLY ! - NO SHIPPING !

Thank you for your time .

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.

James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
