71 AT-1, 2 stroke, oil injected, automatic start Yamaha enduro. Really nice shape. All original except for fenders have been painted, and engine cases have been polished, and front tire. Runs and rides like new. All the lamps and turn signals work as they should. Has new battery and front tire. Seat has a small crack on the left rear corner. Still has the original tool kit in it to. California racer Tommy Aquino has died after a crash involving another rider at Piru Ranch MX in Piru, Calif. According to the Ventura County Star, the 21-year-old professional racer died in a head-on collision shortly before 12:30 pm on Feb. 2.

Yamaha Donates Star Bolt To True American Heroes Auction Hosted By Kenny Roberts

In support of the Yamaha True American Heroes Weekend–the fundraising event taking place this weekend at Kenny Roberts’ legendary ranch in Modesto, California–Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., has donated a 2014 Star Bolt to the Benefit Auction that is a featured event during the weekend. The announcement was made by Bob Starr, General Manager of Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. Our own Kevin Duke made it out to the event in 2012, where he had the chance to ride with some of the sport’s biggest legends.

Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results

Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.
