Yamaha Other description

I'm selling my collection of high quality motorcycles from the 70's.  This is a 175cc enduro with 3,600 miles on it.  I bought it 20 years ago and used it as a pit bike for a NASCAR tour my wife and I were on for a couple of years in the early 90's  Wallas / Earnhardt days!  Buy the bike to show, ride, display or just teach your kids how stuff works.  I'm getting rid of several, including a 1970 DT 100 Yamaha (with 300 miles) and a 1972 Penton JackPiner!  All awesome bikes.  Love to sell em all to a collector, but OK with selling them one at a time.

Yamaha Kicks Off 2013 MotoGP Promotional Campaign with Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo – Video

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

We’re just over two weeks into the new year which means it’s time for MotoGP teams to start the promotional push for their 2013 MotoGP programs. Ducati is set to reveal its Desmosedici GP13 today at its annual Wrooom ski event with Ferrari‘s Formula One team later today, but Yamaha has gotten the jump on its Italian rival by releasing new photographs and a video of ex-Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo. Also revealed is the 2013 Yamaha M1, though the racebike is shrouded in graphical overlays of its pilots and devoid of any sponsor logos including the newly signed supporter Monster Energy.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
