Nice looking barn find project bike. I put new gas in it, started it up and rode it around some. It now does not have spark. The carb will either need work or adjusted. The fins on the engine look real good. The front brake works, the rear doesn't. Kill switch works. Clutch works fine, it shifts like it should and the gears are good. Does smoke a little more than I think it should. Kickstand is broke off, but included. Tires are weather checked, but hold air. Sells with NO TITLE, just a bill of sale. You are buying a bike to restore or use for parts. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Sold with local pick up only or you arrange and pay for shipping. I can ship within a reasonable distance for a fee. Thanks for looking!!

Haga Signs with Swan Yamaha to Race in 2012 British Superbike Championship
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Noriyuki Haga is headed for the British Superbike Championship after signing on with the Swan Yamaha team to replace the injured Ian Hutchinson. Haga had been a mainstay on the World Superbike circuit for over a decade but after being unable to find a team for this season, the 36-year-old veteran will be plying his trade in the U.K. Haga will ride the Yamaha R1 alongside teammate and defending BSB Champion Tommy Hill.
Yamaha YZF-R1 Returns for 2013 with New Colors
Thu, 13 Sep 2012Yamaha announced new 2013 colors and graphics for its flagship sportbike, the YZF-R1. Beside the three color options, the 2013 Yamaha R1 returns unchanged, after getting a new seven-level traction control system in 2012. The three color options for 2013 are Matte Gray, Rapid Red and Raven, and the Team Yamaha Blue and White.
