Yamaha IT465 tech info
Yamaha IT465 description
Up for auction is an 1982 Yamaha IT465. This a low hour one previous owner original bike, The plastics, tires, chain/sprockets and tool kit are original. You'll have a hard time finding a nicer vintage enduro than this. Nothing on this bike has been repainted or retouched. It is ready to ride or put in a collection. This 465cc is a beast, not for me, I'll stick to my 125cc vintage motocross bikes !!! Has a clean title, previous owner street rode it more than woods. These IT465 are getting harder to find, as they are shipped to Australia and Europe, This is one of the best woods/trail bike ever made. I will let the pictures do most of the talking. These bikes came with a trip meter, which says 86 miles, I cannot say that is the actual mileage as it doesn't have a speedometer. Few little imperfections are, scuff on front fender, handguard are scuffed, scuff on left tank decal and minor scratches on side number plates. All original warning labels are intact and clearly readable. A 1984 IT490 sold for $5500.00 a few months ago and not even as nice as this one. That's how popular these bikes are. Any questions or if you need more pics of any other part of bike , please feel free to ask. Bike is located in Central Ohio Sale details $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end thru Paypal. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you do not follow through sale. The balance of payment must be in cash and within 7 days of auction end. Tue, 14 Jan 2014Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Yamaha Developing 250cc Sportbike for India in 2014
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.
