for sale is a '93 Yamaha FZR 600rr Street fighter bike I've had this bike since last year and it has done wonders for me at college. it has gotten me to class every day and is also great for cruisin' around town/country roads; also very fast and balanced for an easy ride. looking to sell it to get money to put towards a newer bike next season -30xxx miles -3rd owner (my 1st bike) -clean title in my name -no mechanical issues (reliable bike) -surprisingly good starter bike -shifts clean and transmission is smooth -new (within 3 mons) chain, sprocket, & rear tire -front tire 70% tread - rear tire 90% tread -new battery & ignition @ beginning of this past season negatives: -tear in passenger seat -bike has been knocked over -this cracked the left tail fairing, chipped the front fender, and busted off a 3rd of the clutch lever - (see images) feel free to text/call me for any questions or for more images/videos happy to talk.. Ben Spies Signs Contract Extension with Yamaha
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha has signed Ben Spies to a one-year contract extension to continue racing on its MotoGP factory team in 2012. The extension comes after Spies, currently seventh in the Championship standings, recorded his first podium finish of the 2011 season, a third place result at Catalunya. Spies earned two other podium finishes in 2010 in his Rookie of the Year winning debut in the class with the Tech 3 satellite team.

Fri, 15 May 2009Named after a man by the name of Zebulon Pike, an explorer who led an expedition to the area in 1806, Pikes Peak is home to the second oldest motorsports race in America second only to the Indianapolis 500. First completed in 1916, this year marks the 87th running of the “Race to the Clouds.” If the math doesn’t add up, this is because there were several years that the event did not run over the course of its 93 year history. The 12.4 mile trek up the mountain consists of 156 treacherous turns to an elevation of 14,110 feet.

Mon, 19 Apr 2010Saturday morning was a stonker wasn’t it? A group of us ranging from neighbours, brothers, mates and girlfriends got up and headed down to the coast for a spot of bacon and eggs. We had a real diverse selection or bikes actually with a GSX1400, XJR1300, Triumph Speedmaster, MT01, A Yamaha R1 and my Triumph Speed Triple.
