Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
I am the 2nd owner of this excellent motorcycle. It has always been protected from weather and harm; never laid down and rode on fair days. I purchased the bike for my son to use when he visited me during the summer. He rode the approximately 300 miles in total; just a few country rides. The bike is a very fun ride and while it has plenty of power if needed, the bike is easily controlled. There have been some upgrades (the original parts come with the bike) from the stock build to include:
- Yoshimura Exhaust -Fuel Injection Kit LED underbody glow -Rear taillight body replaced with LED Fender Eliminator -Blinkers replaced with LED - Frame Sliders -Adjustable shorty brake levers The title is in hand, there are no liens on the bike. The tires have plenty of meat on them for long life ahead. This bike will have to be picked up in person. |

Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
