This is a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R. Bike has 679 miles. I bought this bike brand new in April of 2015 from Rosenau PowerSports in Dearborn, MI. Title is clear with no lien. Two VIN reports available. Bike has never been dropped or laid down. Bike was never ridden in the rain. Bike was always garaged or at least covered. Used strictly as a weekend joy ride when the weather was nice. 600 mile service completed. The bike is stock, no modifications (the windshield is plastidipped, and so can be peeled off if desired). Will only accept money orders, cashier's checks, or cash. Buyer is responsible for shipping, etc. Do not hesitate to contact with any questions. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.

Thu, 18 Apr 2013The Tech3 MotoGP team put the Circuit of the Americas‘ emergency systems to the test after a small fire broke out in the team’s garage. Tech3 says the fire should not affect its participation in this weekend’s Grand Prix of the Americas race. The fire, which ignited some time overnight, was quickly doused by COTA‘s sprinkler system.
