Yamaha FZ description
2009 Yamaha FZ6R bike, 2570 mis on it. I bought this bike new April 2011 out of Vallely Sport and Marine in Minot, ND as a dealer hold-over.Red/Black stripes are custom. Oil/filter was changed at the 500mi break in period, and routine maintenance was performed throughout the 1st year at the mileage marker. Last 2 years, oil/filter was changed and I checked over everything else at the beginning of the riding season, only put 900mis on in the last 2 summers. This is a great motorcycle in great condition, comfortable and easy to ride. But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8. The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.

The high points include the engine, TFT functionality, and suspension. Since the company considers the Niken to be “one of Yamaha’s most sophisticated Sport Tourers,” the emphasis on improving the quality of the rider’s experience should come as no surprise.

Thu, 31 Mar 2011We know the sun always shines on the righteous and that’s exactly what happened last weekend at Donington Park. Yes its good honest people back in charge of the Derbyshire circuit so we saw summer sunshine for Friday’s free practice and also for WSB race two on Sunday. The circuit is better than ever with a new Esses section in place, and while the paddock remains unchanged, work has already started that will see gradual revamp over the year ahead.
