Yamaha FZ description

I am the original owner of this Fz1 which has been meticulously maintained  and adult owned.    I have easily invested over $5000 in modifications and accessories.   I have all service records.

Mods include a full arrow exhaust system, Penske rear shock, GIVI hard side bags,  and powder coated wheels and rear sets black which looks awesome. Powder coating alone was over $700.

If you are not familiar with this bike is a 150 hp sport bike that you can ride all day long.   Only selling because it is my 3rd bike and barely have time to ride one bike.

Will include all OEM equipment and will lower price if you want me strip shock, exhaust, or GIVI bags which are all easy to sell separately.

Michelin Tires are in good condition.  GIVI bags have a couple of small blemishes from being knocked over in garage.

In recent years however, Yamaha Motor USA decided to keep the slightly sportier FZ6R in its lineup and pass on the XJ6 models.

Yamaha Announces AMA Road Racing Teams For 2013

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, has announced its U.S. road racing teams to compete in the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Racing season, which kicks off in March at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Superbike In the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike division, Yamaha is fielding “Team Josh,” as three-time and defending class champion, Josh Hayes once again teams up with Josh Herrin, the 2012 AMA Rookie of the Year. Despite setting single-season records for the most SuperBike wins, the most consecutive SuperBike wins, and the most SuperBike poles, the elder Josh hasn’t lost any of his competitive fire. During the off-season, Josh signed a two-year contract to stay with Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha because he loves the team and he still feels that he’s got a lot of unfinished business to attend to.

Yamaha Trademarks Logos for YZF-R9

Thu, 27 Oct 2022

Signs point to an EICMA announcement Ever since we first uncovered evidence of a YZF-R7 based on the MT-07, people started to ask when Yamaha would do the same to the MT-09 and release an YZF-R9 sportbike using the same 890cc Crossplane Triple. The questions picked up a few months later when we dug up trademark filings for a whole range of model names from an R2 to an R9. With the 2023 model launch season in full swing, and EICMA less than two weeks away, we’ve got more fuel for the old rumor engine with two new Yamaha filings, this time for figurative trademarks for “R9” and “YZF-R9.” The trademarks were filed Oct.
