Yamaha FZ tech info
Yamaha FZ description
Low mileage 2009 Yamaha FZ6 for sale. Been a great bike to me but I just don't ride anymore. Just changed the oil/filter/battery on 5/19 and she's ready to go (haven't ridden since). Great condition all around, tires are nearly new with lots of life left, Michelin Pilot Road 3 up front (90%+) and Pilot Road 2 out back (50%).
This bike spans all skill levels, it's a re-tuned R6 engine that provides more usable mid-range torque. It's awesome in the canyons yet comfortable enough to go very long distances. Once warmed up these FZ6's have sharp throttle response and sing happily through the rev range. Great on gas and an all around fun bike. Brakes are solid and confident inspiring. Everything functions as it should. Clear title. Sold AS-IS. |

Wed, 15 Sep 2010This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.
