Yamaha FZ description
Up for sale is my beautiful FZ1 It currently has 13,8xx miles on it. Which is a low milage for this bike. It has been outfitted to be an excellent sport touring machine, or pop off the bags and have a nice track bike.In describing the Yamaha FZ1, it would be inconceivable to start anywhere other than the motor, its based on the R1 powerplant. The 998cc Inline-Four motor achieves its displacement courtesy of a 77mm bore, 53.6mm stroke and utilizes the pre-2007 R1's 20-valve (five-valve-per-cylinder) configuration, pumping out 150HP and 78 feet/lbs. of torque. The FZ1 means serious business in a Clark Kent sort of way. The real world application on the pavement is a broad, linear powerband. Which climbs steady all the way up to its peak. The further that needle climbs up the tach, the more and more the Yamaha resembles a rocket ship. The Yamaha's power delivery is extremely smooth and docile and the exhaust note is deceptively quiet but it will get you to the end of the next straight pretty damn quick! As stated above the bike has 150HP and 78 feet/lbs. of torque.I have loved this bike and spent a good bit of money on it. here is a list of the mods:Aftermarket bar risers 1.5in up, 1in back.A torsion throttle lock cruise controlrider and passenger adjustable lowering foot pegsCustom wrapped leather seat for the riderGivi Monokey V35, 34liter capacity per side, they are quick release cases with integrated led brake lamps and blinkers.the full givi rack mount system for both side bags and a trunk.SWMotech trunk mount rack. And a custom made passenger backrest for the passenger that mounts to the rack.I had a brand new tire installed over the summer, and there is plenty of tread left on the rear. I really love this bike but for right not I have to get rid of some toys so it has to go. It runs extremely well and doesn't have any issues.I would like to get $7,500 or the best offer. or possibly trade for a nice car or truck.I don't need help selling it, and please don't waste my time.I can be reached by text any time at 205-914-XXXX
