Yamaha FZ description

2005 Yamaha FZ6 with 5,855 Miles This is a nice clean bike that looks really cool with its attractive blue paint. It has a four cylinder, four stroke, liquid cooled engine, with a DOHC and four valves per cylinder. There is a six speed transmission with a chain drive. Ignition is digital, starter is electric and it has twin disk brakes on the front wheel and a single disk on the rear wheel. This bike would make a great commuter with the smooth power of its four cylinders and the smaller fuel sipping engine. With only 5,855 miles on the odometer, there are many miles of trouble free riding still to come with this motorcycle. 2013 Yamaha YZF-R6 Color and Graphic Options Announced

Thu, 13 Sep 2012

Those of you hoping for an updated Yamaha YZF-R6 will have to wait for at least another year, as Yamaha announced the 599cc sportbike is returning for 2013 unchanged except for new colors and graphics. Yamaha last updated the R6 in 2008, equipping it with the company’s Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-T) variable-length intake system. The lack of any significant updates to the 2013 R6 must be disappointing to Yamaha fans, especially as the color updates were announced the same day Kawasaki is expected to reveal a new 636cc ZX-6R.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.

Honda and Yamaha Pledge Support to Typhoon Victims in Philippines

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

Honda and Yamaha each offered aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines earlier this month. Initial estimates put the death tool at over 10,000 but Philippine President Benigno Aquino says the actual number maybe closer to 2,500. Still, the United Nations says more than 11 million people were affected by the typhoon, with about 673,000 displaced from their homes.
