2005 Yamaha Fz1 , Awesome bike only 6538 mi. 998 with 130HP. Custom Yamaha lettering on tank. Yoshimura exhaust makes it sound great. Rides like a street bike but performs like a sportbike. Same basic engine as the R1. Last year that Yamaha made this bike without fuel injection for anyone like me that prefers a carburetor and choke. Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.

Yamaha Factory MotoGP Team Loses Another Sponsor
Fri, 30 Dec 2011Yamaha’s factory MotoGP team has lost a major sponsor for the second year in a row. Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas will not be extending its sponsorship agreement with the Yamaha team, ending a three-year relationship. Last year, the Yamaha team lost the title sponsorship of automobile manufacturer Fiat.
