2002 yamaha fz1000, excellent looking and running condition, runs like new, i am 2nd owner and my friend is original owner, and he keeps his bike sparkling, not much I can say except that this bike is a great bike, I know it has a lot of miles, but it has been taken care of and I have the records to prove it. 


I love this bike and am only selling it because I bought a boat I want to fix up.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.

Fans of professional motorcycle road racing who don’t want to wait until the next AMA round at Road America can now rejoice in watching the GEICO Superbike Shootout presented by Yamaha. One-hour TV shows from each round will air on MAVTV twice a day on six consecutive Thursdays at consistent times, as follows: Round One, RaceFuelZ Pro Superbike from Yamaha SoCal Nationals at Fontana June 5, 10:00 a.m. Pacific/1:00 p.m.

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
