Yamaha FZ description

I am selling my 1995 Yamaha FZR 600 Turbo. It's been a blast to ride since owning it, but now I'd have to sell it as I have too many toys and I need the space on my garage. When I 1st bought it about two years ago, it was pretty much parts and pieces. I built it back up and got it running good. This bike has never been wrecked nor layed down. Not perfect but its clean, runs and drives. Definitely 1 of a kind bike. The Good:*Rides and Shifts Good*CMC Custom Rims*Custom Paint Scheme*Re-upholstered seats to match paint scheme*Walbro Fuel Pump*Mallory Fuel Pressure Regulator*DSM EVOIII T3 Turbo*Oil Scavenging Pump Turbo cooler/lubricationThe Bad:*Been sitting for a while so carbs need to be cleaned good and tuned to run great (I can still get it started though, but its hard)*Kinda dirty - needs to be washed.*Front Right Fork is leaking - I would say that the forks will need to get refreshed/rebuilt (new fork seals and fork oil) - before you decide to ride it around*Has a little scratch on the right side fairing from it tipping over at my driveway. Below is a link of the bike right after I got everything put together and built.http://s1078.photobucket.com/albums/w495/bford_17/?action=view¤t=2012-03-08_13-50-57_361.mp4ABSOLUTELY NO TEST RIDES UNTIL SALE IS FINALIZED.Clean and clean title on hand.$2300.00 OBOCall/Text Ford at 904-687-613zero (Leave a message if I don't pick up. 2022 Yamaha MT-10 Review - First Ride

Mon, 15 Aug 2022

It's the King of the Masters of Torque Credit: Photos by Joe Augustin Heaping praise upon Yamaha’s naked bikes has become all too easy lately. Yes, the MT-07 did get dethroned in last year’s Middleweight Naked comparison, but not by much – and it took brand-new motorcycles from Aprilia and Triumph to do it. When it came time for the 900cc(ish) Nakeds last August, the newly revamped MT-09 surprised a couple people by taking the cake against KTM Duke 890 and five other very nice and mostly more expensive motorcycles.

And in my front room this evening...

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
