Yamaha FZ description

For Sale: 1988 Yamaha FZR1000, I bought this bike not running, everything worked except no power to spark plugs. All it was is a short in the key switch. Installed new switch, Cleaned carbs, Fresh Oil, New Tires, brakes good, all electrical stuff works (blinkers, horn, etc) Runs great after carbs were cleaned, has original Air Box, No rips in seat. Body has some cracks , chips and some damage but never wrecked, dent on top of tank, just 25 years of use. I bought this bike because it was pretty much original to fix up and sell (I do this for a hobby) Has old Kerker 4-1 exhaust. I'm not asking for much (No Reserve) looking for a Yamaha person who might want to restore it. Has 5 Valve engine, 3 intake 2 exhaust. E-Mail me with any questions, Thanks.

This time, however, the Yamaha rider decided to withdraw from the race.

Riding in groups

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

Saturday morning was a stonker wasn’t it? A group of us ranging from neighbours, brothers, mates and girlfriends got up and headed down to the coast for a spot of bacon and eggs. We had a real diverse selection or bikes actually with a GSX1400, XJR1300, Triumph Speedmaster, MT01, A Yamaha R1 and my Triumph Speed Triple.
