Yamaha FZ description

Up for auction is my 1985 Yamaha 750FZ. This bike has been in the family for several years. It has been well maintained and runs and rides really nice. The carbs have been jetted up one size, it has a set of K&N air filters on it, a four into one pipe with a Supertrap muffler. This past spring I put in a fresh set of spark plugs in it and a new battery. The tires were new less than a thousand miles ago and i put a fresh paint job on the tank. The windscreen is cracked as you can see from the pictures and should be replaced, other than that the bike may have a few scuffs here or there and isn't perfect but a super nice strong running ride. The bike is FAST....If you are not an experianced rider please don't buy this bike. Last thing I want is for someone to get hurt. Also absolutly NO joy rides! If your not serious about this bike and have a motorcycle indorcement on your license don NOT come to ride it.

Buyer must pick up. I will not ship!

Graves Yamaha AMA Racer Injured in Scooter Accident

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

Motorcycle racers recognize they compete in a dangerous sport, risking serious harm in a crash. Of course, all riders know about the risks, whether they’re on a race track or on the street. Still it seems odd to hear Daytona Sportbike racer Cameron Beaubier broke his knee cap and injured his wrist crashing a 50cc scooter on the street.

Rumor: Yamaha Developing Inline Three Roadster

Wed, 25 Jan 2012

French motorcycle outlet Moto Revue reports Yamaha is developing a new three-cylinder middleweight. Citing an internal Yamaha document, Moto Revue reports the new naked model will feature an inline Triple engine, aluminum perimeter frame, upside-down fork and a triple-pipe exhaust like the MV Agusta F3 and Brutale 675. Yamaha has produced a Triple before, offering the XS750 from 1976-1979 before replacing it with the XS850 in 1980 and 1981 (pictured above is the 1981 Yamaha XS850.) The potential new model is still likely to be years away, so its look is yet to be determined, though Moto Revue does have a rendering that borrows some of the design elements from the FZ8.
