Yamaha FJR description

2009 Yamaha FJR1300AE, SUPER SPORT TOURING PERFECTION - SUPERSPORT TOURING PERFECTION! All the performance, comfort and refinement you expect from an FJR with effortless shifting, thanks to a computer operated clutch. Super Sport touring has never been so smooth,. The FJR's 145 horsepower, light aluminum frame, push-button adjustable windscreen, standard ABS, adjustable ergos and more, widen the gap between it and common sport tourers to a gaping chasm. This 2009 Yamaha FJR1300AE was only ridden a low 5838 miles. This Yamaha is a 9 out of a 10 hands down. Features include Yamaha's Chip Control Shifting (YCC-S) technology, a 5-speed semi-automatic transmission with electronically-controlled clutch. That's right, no clutch lever. You have the option of shifting via a conveniently located-handlebar switch or using the conventional foot shifter. Additional high lights include a power adjustable windshield, adjustable head lights, heated grips, hard and soft settings for the rear suspension, a 12V accessory jack, a small lockable storage compartment in the fairing and a set of removable hard saddle bags with liners. The only defects we could find on this excpectionally clean Yamaha are a few scuff makes on the saddle bags caused by a riders boot. This FJR runs, rides, shifts and looks perfect. Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
