Yamaha FJR description

2009 Yamaha Fjr1300 AE, 2009 Yamaha Fjr1300 AE, You'd be proud to own this machine. This is a 1 owner bike purchased in October of 2012 from the dealer. It now has 8333 miles, very low for a bike this age. The bike is always garaged, meticulously maintained by the dealer and comes with service records for you. This bike is clutch-less and impeccably smooth. It is not an automatic, you can paddle shift or you can use the traditional foot peg, the best of both worlds for different riding conditions. Extras / Bonus included: - new battery - $139 value - touring, electronic adjustable oversized wind shield - $230 value - frame sliders - $90 value - matching tank and fuel cap protector - $90 value - new head lamps / high end bulb upgrade - $75 value - new michelin pilot road 3 tire set - $600 value - matching hard saddle bags - $800 value - heated grips - 2 option adjustable riding position - anti lock brakes - adjustable suspension - low miles - clean title, immaculate condition - never down - rare opportunity for unique bike Optional Extra's (figures listed are replacement cost value, not the asking price and are negotiable) - matching top box - $690 value - Russell Day Long 2 piece seat - $1000 value - fog lamps - $300 value - highway pegs - $125 value NADA values the bike at $10,325 while KBB values the bike at $9,890 for the base model with no add on's or extras. The asking price was determined and based on these values which does not include the optional extras, just the base model bike plus the "extra's / bonus" included. I'd be happy to negotiate a reasonable price for the bike with or without the "optional extra's". Please ask for Dan at 816-786-2366 for the most prompt reply. $9,699.00 $9,699.00

Fri, 02 Dec 2011

Of the concept models Yamaha announced it would introduce at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, it was the heavy-duty looking XTW250 RYOKU concept that drew the most attention from our readers. Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.

Cardboard Yamaha R1

Tue, 01 May 2012

I'm partial to a bit of origami and have been frustratingly screwing up paper trying to master Yamaha's paper craft series for a while now. Jack Chen from Australia has not only made a mockery of my model making failures, but he also made this version which is 40% smaller than a full-size Yamaha YZF-R1, out of cardboard.
